Big Bike Touring Co Terms and Conditions
TERMS THAT WILL APPLY TO YOUR BOOKINGS
BOOKING
A deposit at the time of booking is required (see individual tours for deposit amount) and is payable by Credit Card, PayPal or Direct Bank Deposit. We will confirm your booking by email on receipt of a deposit and completed Booking Form. By signing and returning the booking form and deposit it is agreed that you are accepting our terms and conditions. Note that all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and therefore Big Bike Touring Co strongly recommends that you take out adequate travel insurance at time of booking in order to cover any eventuality such as tour cancellation.
PAYMENT OF BALANCE
On receipt of a completed booking form and deposit, Big Bike Touring Co Limited will send you an email confirmation which contains details of your reservation and the ‘TOUR FINAL PAYMENT DATE’. The tour must be paid in full no later than 60 days before the date of travel or your reservation will be cancelled with full loss of monies paid to that point. Payment can be made by Credit Card, PayPal or direct bank transfer. Bookings made 60 days or less before departure will be accepted only with full payment or by prior agreement. Only those who have paid in full will be allowed to take part in the tour. On receipt of final balance Big Bike Touring Co Limited will send by email full details of your tour.
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend you take out adequate medical/travel insurance to cover yourself on the trip. (Insert what we cover on insurance here)
OPTIONAL AND INCLUSION INSURANCE
- Please check your motorcycle before leaving our service center. You are responsible for any damages and loss during the tour.
- The customer agrees to present a motorcycle security deposit, according to type of motorcycle or by cash upon hand-over of the motorcycle. In the absence of any damage to the motorcycle, its equipment or GPS upon its return, the full security deposit through cash deposit will be returned in full.

- In case the customer does not agree to present security deposit. the owner offers an optional daily security deposit and motorcycle damage waiver, which is cover the damage cost of the motorcycle as per details below.
- USD 40 – per day to cover the bike damages up to USD3,000. The damages over USD3,000.- will be customer’s responsibility
DEPOSIT & INSURANCE OPTIONS
- It’s the customer’s responsibility to check the motorcycle and all the accessories for any damage prior to leaving our location.
- It’s the customer’s responsibly to bring the motorcycle and all accessories back to our location the same condition as it was at handover.
- All Motorcycles come with Government 3rd party insurance only.
- If any damage has been done to the motorcycle and any accessories the customer agrees to pay in full for said damage at 100% estimated costs and labor the customers also understands there is a OUT Of Service Fee of $150 a day for maxim of 30 days ($4,500)

a) Deposit: Security deposit detail as the list below and the customer understands this will not cover any damage and out of service fees.

Security deposit: CASH DEPOSIT ONLY USD $1,500. –
Type of bikes: BMW (F700/ 800/ 850/ 1200/ 1250)
Security deposit: CASH DEPOSIT ONLY USD $2,500. –
b) Insurance: USD $40.00 a day to cover bike damages up to USD $3,000. Damages over USD $3,000. will be customer’s responsibly.
Rider Competency and Safety Policy:
Participants must be competent and fully licensed motorcycle riders. If the tour guide determines that a participant does not have the requisite skill set or is riding in an unsafe manner that presents a danger to themselves or other road users, the company reserves the right to stop the tour immediately without providing a refund. Additionally, any motorcycle insurance purchased through the company will become null and void in such cases.
IF WE CHANGE YOUR BOOKING
It is sometimes necessary or unavoidable to change your booking. In the case of any major alteration Big Bike Touring Co Limited will notify you as soon as possible before your departure date. In the event of a significant change, you may continue with the tour, accept an alternative tour or if you decide to cancel your booking then subject to Big Bike Touring Co Limited cancellation fees all monies paid will be refunded. Big Bike Touring Co Limited cannot be held liable for any compensation or expenses arising from the change in your booking. Once the tour has commenced, we reserve the right to alter routes and accommodation at short notice due to circumstances beyond our control. In this situation we will notify you as soon as possible. Where accommodation has to be changed Global Motorcycle Tours Ltd will provide accommodation of at least the same standard.
IF WE CANCEL YOUR BOOKING
We reserve the right, in any circumstances, to cancel your booking and will notify you as soon as possible before your departure date and will at this time refund all monies paid. Should the cancellation be due to the minimum number of places not being reached we will offer you a comparable alternative tour or a full refund as per the above.
In the event we cancel your tour due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e., “Force Majeure” events – which include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial action, Coronavirus or similar pandemics then no deposit payments will be refunded, or compensation payments made. We will, if possible, endeavor to transfer your booking and any monies paid to a suitable alternative tour. We strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance at time of booking in order to cover any eventuality such as tour cancellation.
DELAYS DURING THE TOUR
In the event of extended delays, we will endeavor to secure an alternative crossing. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays caused by war, civil unrest, industrial action, blockades, Coronavirus or similar pandemics, failure of hoteliers, ferry operators or other suppliers. We cannot be held liable for any compensation or expenses arising from the delay in your tour. In the case of any delays, you are responsible for providing your own meals and additional accommodation.
REROUTING OF THE TOURS
In the event of road closures or government shutdowns of provinces we will do our best to reroute the tour to our best ability. We are not responsible if for unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to visit all sites/provinces detailed in the itinerary.
PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS
A valid passport valued for a minimum of six months is required for visiting Thailand. Big Bike Touring Company is not responsible for obtaining Thailand Visas. If your trip included other countries you will be responsible for obtaining these additional Visas. If you or your passenger holds any other passport a visa may be required, and you should contact the appropriate office before travelling. Tour members who cancel or cannot participate in any tour due to appropriate documentation not being obtained shall remain liable for full payment of the cost of the tour subject to your rights of cancellation set out in these terms.
TOUR MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY
Participation in any tour is entirely at your own risk. Riders are responsible for the deductible insurance amount due to accidents. Riders are also responsible at all times for any passengers travelling with them. Any accident, bodily injury, illness or death to rider or passenger during your tour is not the responsibility of Big Bike Touring Co Limited.
When booking a tour with Big Bike Touring Co Limited assumes that the participant (and passengers if applicable) will have read the tour Itinerary and will be fully aware of the route, destinations and the approximate mileage/kilometers for each day. It is the responsibility of the customer to assess their own ability and stamina and to have made the judgement that it is an appropriate tour for them to undertake.
TOUR PRICE
If for any reason a participant decides to leave the tour before the end they will not be refunded. Furthermore, Big Bike Touring Co Limited will not be responsible for any associated cost incurred.
CANCELLATION FEES AND POLICY
If you cancel your booking following confirmation, Big Bike Touring Co Limited reserves the right to withhold the deposit/tour payment in part for costs incurred.
- More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit
- 59 – 30 days: 50% of tour
- Less than 29 days before departure: No Refund

BIG BIKE TOURING CO LIMITED RESPONSIBILITIES
Big Bike Touring Co Limited will make every effort to ensure that the suppliers of the services which you will receive during your tour are efficient, reliable and reputable. Big Bike Touring Co Limited cannot be held responsible for any part of the tour which due to outside influences does not meet the standard described in the tour brochure (e.g., hotel lifts, swimming pools, etc.) these amenities being unavailable due to service, repair, weather conditions etc.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
Complaints should be made in the first instance to the tour guide or support staff.
