Our Thailand Moto GP tour aims to provide riders with the unique experience of combining a motorcycle adventure tour with an international motor sport event. The Dorna Thailand Moto GP is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious and sought after rounds of the world re known Moto GP championship. Our tour route has been carefully selected with the aim of making the adventure riding element of our tour challenging yet enjoyable whilst remaining mindful to cater for all levels of riders and abilities.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Company HQ Route 66 Pattaya to Khao Yai National Park
Day 1 - Company HQ Route 66 Pattaya to Khao Yai National Park

Having completed tour induction and final checks the tour departs company HQ “ Pattaya heading NNE for approximately 250+ km en route to explore the picturesque Kho Yai national park.
Lunch, coffee and a number of points of interest stops are pre planned into the route.
Arrive accommodation late afternoon.
Overnight stop in Khao Yai.

Day 2 - Khao Yai to Buriram

Following a leisurely breakfast, the tour sets off East on its 275 km journey to our base accommodation in Buriram province, our accommodation is situated approximately 40 minutes from Buriram ‘Chang” international circuit.
Lunch, coffee and a number of points of interest stops are pre planned into the route.
Arrive at accommodation late afternoon.
Overnight Buriram.

Day 3 – Base accommodation to “Chang” International race circuit

Following a leisurely breakfast the tour party undertakes the 40 minute journey to the Chang international circuit home of the Thailand Moto GP. Free practice day provides spectators the opportunity to observe the free practice sessions as riders search for the optimum settings for their machines in readiness for race day.
In addition to the premier class there are a number of additional categories on display including the ever-thrilling Moto 3, Moto 2 and E class. Final qualifying sessions take place as the day progresses in order to ascertain final starting grid positions for all categories.
Lunch coffee and soft drinks provided.
Return to accommodation late afternoon.

Day 4 – Base accommodation to “Chang” International Race Circuit

Following a leisurely breakfast the tour party undertakes the 40 minute journey to the Chang international circuit home of the Thailand Moto GP. Having thoroughly explored the venue the moment has finally arrived to take up your pre chosen allocated seat in either the Moto GP village or the main grandstand in doing so experiencing the tension as it builds in readiness the start of the racing.

Racing categories include Moto GP, Moto 2, Moto 3 and E class (Electric) In addition there will be further entertainment provided by the event organizers.

Lunch, coffee and soft drinks provided.

NB; * VIP Moto GP village corporate package includes full breakfast lunch and dinner and unlimited drinks including alcohol in fully air conditioned VIP facilities inside the Moto GP Village.
Return to accommodation late afternoon.
Overnight base camp Buriram.

Day 5 – Buriram to Kabin Buri

Following a leisurely breakfast the tour party says goodbye to our Buriram base accommodation as we once again return to the adventure riding side of our tour. Today our route takes us on a 280 km journey SW to Kabin Buri province.

Lunch, coffee and a number of points of interest stops are pre planned into the route.

Late afternoon sees the tour group arrive at our 5* overnight accommodation in Kabin Buri.
Being the penultimate night of our tour, the company will provide a lavish farewell party for all tour participants.

Day 6 – Kabin Buri to HQ “Route 66” Pattaya

No doubt following a hectic farewell party the previous evening a leisurely later than usual breakfast is envisaged.

Breakfast having been concluded the tour party turns SE on its final 180 km journey returning to company HQ “Route 66” Pattaya.
Coffee and a number of points of interest stops are pre planned into the route.
Tour arrives HQ early afternoon whence a late lunch will be provided by Route 66 diner.
Tour debrief.
Tour disbands.

FAQs

Do I have health insurance while on tour?
Our motorcycles are fully covered by third party insurance, however we strongly recommend that you have your own health insurance in place before you arrive in Thailand. Make sure it covers you for Motorbike riding activities.
Do I need an International driving license?
Yes, you must have obtained your own country’s International driving license before your tour begins.
Do I have my own room or do I have to share?
You do not have to share, every rider has their own private room.
Can I bring my partner on tour?
Yes, of course, obviously there will be additional fees.
What happens if my bike breaks down on tour?
Our following support/recovery truck carries a spare bike so you will be swiftly back on the road.
How much luggage shall I bring?
When touring it is always best to travel as light as possible, we have 40 litre waterproof bags which stay on our support truck on extensive tours. All bikes have side panniers for additional storage.
When should we arrive before the tour begins?
If you’re flying from overseas, we suggest you arrive a few days before the tour to help you shake off any ill effects of jet lag.
What kind of food should we expect on the tour?
They serve breakfast at the hotel and this normally comprises several options. Lunch is a light roadside lunch, for dinner options we always endeavor to find a restaurant that offers both Thai and International cuisine.
When riding, do you have to follow the tour guide?
Yes, this is mandatory on our tours, for safety and time keeping. We operate a lead and last policy, each rider will take turns to be the ‘sweeper’ bike at the rear of the pack and notify the lead guide bike of any problems/issues.
