Day 1 - Pattaya to Khao Yai National Park

Having completed tour induction. The tour group depart company HQ Route 66 Pattaya on a 45-minute ride to Nong Pla Thai for a familiarisation ride, any initial adjustments required to the motorcycles will be made at this point. Coffee stop over the tour starts in earnest as we head NE a journey of some 275km to Khao Yai national park. Khao Yai national park covers more than 2,000 square kilometers of natural forest and lush grassland and is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after venues to visit in central Thailand.

Having arrived at Khao yai national park we break for lunch inside the park itself. We spend the remainder of the day exploring the park, we take the opportunity to tour the visitors center which explains the history of the park and highlights the various attractions available within the park. We visit a number of viewpoints that provide excellent photo opportunities. In addition to its biker-friendly scenic roads, Khao Yai park features a colorful mixture of beautiful diverse landscapes and unspoiled jungle complemented by integral streams, waterfalls, and a wonderful variety of flora and fauna. Notwithstanding a plethora of wildlife including elephants, wild deer, and monkeys which can often be encountered whilst navigating the park.

NB: Khao Yai national park has been listed as a Unesco World Heritage site since July 2005.

Late afternoon sees the group make their way to our designated overnight accommodation which is conveniently situated at Pak Chong situated at the edge of the national park.

Day 2 - Khao Yai to Phetchabun
Day 2 - Khao Yai to Phetchabun

Once a leisurely breakfast has been concluded the tour party sets off in a Northerly direction covering 260km to Phetchabun which is situated in the heart of central Thailand.

Next, we push onto Which Buri at our pre-selected biker-friendly lunch stop.

Following lunch we continue our ride to Phetchhabun via Thung Salaeng Luang and Nam Nao, both national parks offer what can best be described as biking Nirvana with endless twists and turns and changes in elevation complemented by stunning scenery.

Day 3 – Phetchabun - Phu Thap Berk - Phitsanulok

Following an early leisurely breakfast, the tour departs overnight accommodation commencing a short yet technical 95km ride climbing some 1800m. The route incorporates a number of steep hill climbs and incorporates some of the most twisty roads in Thailand. As we ascend to the highest peak in Phetchabun province standing at some 1768m above sea level the temperature change is very noticeable. When we reach the Phu Thap Berk viewpoint also known as the city in the sky dependent upon the season you may find yourself climbing through a picturesque sea of fog providing fantastic photo opportunities.

The resulting change in elevation promotes an all-year-round cooler climate which makes for a pleasant change from the higher temperatures and humidy of the low lands of central Thailand.
Following the PTB viewpoint, we start to descend the twisties to Khao Khor to visit Wat Pharathat Pha Sorn Kaew which is more commonly known as the 5 buddhas. One of the most pictured temples in Thailand the Wat offers some fantastic photo opportunities overlooking Khao Khor. Day 5 - Nakhon Sawan – Lop Buri – Ayutthaya

It’s certainly an interesting place to visit and provides unique photo opportunities.

That said caution should be exercised as the monkeys are wild, they are curious by nature, and are not unknown to steal or vandalize cars or motorcycles if left unattended. They also have sharp teeth and that should be noted should you choose to feed them.

Monkey city visited we head onto the city of Ayutthaya which is known as the second city of Thailand. With Auttthaya having so much history we take the opportunity to see the remnants of the first city buildings which were constructed around the 1760s.

Site visit over we make our way to our overnight accommodation which is situated in the heart of the city in close proximity to a large mall which offers the possibility of exploration post-dinner.

The 7 Days Central Thailand Tour was amazing. The tour guides were always patient and understanding to our needs. They were always trying to cater to us and make sure that we had an awesome time in Thailand. Lee, the tour guide on my big bike group, was amazing! He took his time to show me the beauty of Thailand's nature and gave me some great life advice along the routes.

The motorcycle tour was one...

The motorcycle tour was one of the best things we did on our Thailand trip. It was incredible to see all those beautiful views riding up mountains, and it made us feel like real pros because this bike is so easy to ride! We got a beautiful BMW, a grate guide and a country with nice people such as Thailand. Perfetc mix. Everyone we passed would wave or bow as they saw us coming down the road. We had such an amazing time exploring your wonderful country. The only thing missing from our perfect motorbike vacation were some more pictures for memories.

Spending these days in Thailand...

Spending these days in Thailand with a motorcycle tour was one of the best decisions we made on our trip. Seeing how beautiful and diverse this country is, riding from city to rural towns while tasting incredible food along the way, has been an experience that I will never forget. There were so many times where we got off at a stop for gas or lunch only to be blown away by some ancient temple hidden among rice paddies; it really felt like there are endless treasures waiting just around each corner! The people have been nothing but welcoming and friendly towards us wherever we go - which makes sense because they're famous for being warm-hearted hospitality experts after all!

most professional and enjoyable tour I've had in Thailand

I've been to Thailand 6 times and had numerous tour companies set up my trip. I must say this is by far the most professional and enjoyable tour I've had in Thailand. I was with my girlfriend, and this tour was a great value for us. We got to see beautiful sights that we wouldn't have seen otherwise because of the great tour guides.

Overall, our trip was simply amazing.

The motorcycle tour was one of the best things we did on our Thailand trip. It was incredible to see the beautiful views riding up the mountains. We had a blast riding the Versys 650 in Thailand, and we are very grateful for the opportunity to explore the country. Overall, our trip was simply amazing. I'm not sure that there is a better motorcycle road in the world than the northern loop. We were so dazzled with how much attention to detail you put into planning out the route.
