Start the first day ride with the easy ride up north of Chiang Mai on curvy highway 118 just to give you to introduce yourself to the bike and Thailand traffic. then dip your feet in a natural hot spring water with a cup of hand-pick coffee in your hand. Continue on the mountain road to Phayao. Sitting by the biggest lake in Northern Thailand for having lunch. After lunch follows the road to Nan – A province who hiding itself behind the mountainous range which is waiting for us to explore. Overnight in Nan
With beautiful mountain scenery and sparsely frequented roads, Nan province offers some great circular motorbike routes. We only have 180 km today, a bit short in distance but a lot of well-worth point to visit. First stop Bo klue or the ancient salt well. This area used to have a thousand of salt well in the past due to their special geography. People here still follow their tradition to produce salt in old unique style. Next we have a viewpoint of Doi Phu Kha national park at 1,715 above sea level. Riding on the sky road of Nan to Baan Tai Lue coffee small coffee shop, weaving workshop and retail stores. here the interesting weaving display. Renowned for its traditional Tai Lue culture. Overnight in Nan
After breakfast it's more of the wonderful Doi Phu Nang National Park to start the morning ride as we head inland to Chiang Kum. We ride one of the best riding road in the world up to Phu Lang Kha, stop for a coffee with stunning mountain scenery. Visit the Phu Sang waterfall for a refreshing dip before going to Phu Chi Fah the mountain road along the Laos border. In the evening we will arrive the small charming town - Chiang Khong where we will stay overnight by mighty Mae Khong River.
After checking out we are heading to Golden Triangle on “Paradise Road” which is 60 km riding along Mae Khong River. At the Golden Triangle we have a chance to explore why the Golden Triangle become on of the most opium trafficking area in the world and where the name come from. After lunch we will ride along Myanmar border to the tea plantation “Choui Fong” which is growth by Chinese communities who flee from China about 80 years ago when they have the revolution. Overnight in Chiang Rai the former capital city of Northern Thailand
Welcome to a rest day. You can have a late breakfast and then stay by the pool or relaxing massage in the spa. If you have more spare energy to spend, we would like to recommend you to visit some tourist attractions place. In Chiang Rai there is famous for temples and art, a White temple, and Blackhouse. Both places own by 2 different Thai national artist which will give you the contrast feeling in their working style.
After finished our breakfast we will take a short ride to White temple, Famous temple of Chiang Rai which will give you the idea of Buddhism. Then we cross another mountain to Chiang Dao where we will have lunch by the foot-hill of “Doi Luang” which mean Big Mountain in Lanna language. After lunch you have a chance to test your cornering skills with the road 1095 to Pai. The famous 1,864 curve of Mae Hong Son Loop is start here. Just before arrive the hotel there is an elephant camp that we can feeding them and learn how elephant are important to Thailand. Overnight in Pai
A riding pleasure day, about 270 km in front of us today is a curvy, winding, twisty and switchback road all the way. Someone could have almost specifically made the roads for touring bikes. You can enjoy the epic mountain scenery when you are moving from left to right likes you are dancing with the bike. In Mae Hong Son we will visit Karen Long Neck Village who wrapped their neck with metal ring for more attractive. In the evening you will arrive at Mae Sa riang district a charming little town near Myanmar border. Mae Sariang represents the westernmost area where Lanna culture and architecture dominated which also well assimilated with Burmese/ Shan. Overnight in Mae Sarieng
In the morning we have a chance to offering food to the monk, Thai Buddhists believe that making merit – good karma – through giving can giving you a luck and good life. Then continue East to Bo Keao Pine tree garden which a nice place for photo and coffee. After lunch in Mae Chaem district we will clam up to the Thailand roof “Doi Inthanon” – the highest mountain in Thailand. Wachiratharn waterfall is our last official stop in this trip, the 80 meters height waterfall will give you a refreshing before arrive Chiang Mai. Then sadly it's time to say goodbye and take away the memories of a fantastic experience and adventure.
